Time for a quick breather from politics tonight. I couldn't make up my mind which of these songs to post so ended putting them both on-line!
The first is from a new band in Japan, Chu's Day who I came across recently . This little number is just a bit of fun. Sure they'll go far!
The second song for tonight is from the fabulous French singer Alizee. This number came out about 6 years ago but for those of you who haven't heard it before, simply enjoy.
Normal service will resume tomorrow......

A response to Jeremy Corbyn on ISIS
Guest Post by Michael Duggan
In the end, I decided to respond to the request from our Glorious Leader to let him have our views on the likely vote on action against Islamic State to take place in the House of Commons later this week - here's what I said;
"1. As you have already set out your stall publicly on the actions proposed by the Prime Minister to stop the heinous activities of Islamic State (IS) and, as far as I can see, have no intention of considering any change to your stance, why are you putting Labour Party members through this sham of a consultation? I suspect that this is simply a manoeuvre to pressurise those who fundamentally disagree with you in the PLP to toe your line!
2. I've actually read the full Statement compiled by the Prime Minister in response to the concerns of the Foreign Affairs Committee and find that he has set out a compelling and comprehensive case for his strategy of military, diplomatic, and humanitarian measures, working with our close allies and, potentially, Russia and other influential international players, to combat IS; it's not perfect, but neither is the world within which we live, and, in my view, it's as close to meeting the four conditions set out in the Labour Party Conference Policy Statement on Syria as is humanly possible now and in the foreseeable future.
3. As far as I can ascertain, you have not put forward an alternative strategy to deal with IS; it's all very well opposing the proposals from the Prime Minister, but, if you have no other strategy, you are simply saying "do nothing" - completely unacceptable!
4. My penultimate question to you is this - under what circumstances would you be prepared, as Leader of the Labour Party, not as an individual, to support military action in Syria against IS and to help in bringing about an end to the terrible Syrian Civil War?
5. Why do you persist in using the emotionally misleading and pejorative accusation that the Prime Minister is proposing to bomb Syria, when he is actually proposing to bomb strategic IS targets in Syria? This is simply a re-iteration of the deceitful propaganda used by 'Stop The War' and is disgraceful!"
Eternal optimist I may be, but I'm not banking on a positive response this time!

The growth of casual anti-Semitism..on the left
One of the more worrying features of modern politics is the rise of anti-Semitism on the left through the casual acceptance of an Islamist/Palestinian agenda that ignores the use of anti-Zionism as an excuse for hatred of Jews.
One the the oft seen comments on some supposedly progressive and left-wing forums such as the unofficial Labour Party forum are references to the Rothchilds. Examples tonight included:
I switch off the MSM - it is obviously run by Zionist big wig/war mongerers whose only desire is to keep divide & conquer as the mantra...whilst bowing down to The Rothschild's banking fraternity...
Rothchild's banking family, recently joined byZac Goldsmith.
The Rothchilds of course are Jewish and part of this world wide Zionist conspiracy that neo-Nazi's and now Islamists prattle on about. Leftists now drawn into the Islamosocialist agenda repeat such platitudes without even thinking.
But it gets worse. The following and quite offensive image was posted to the same forum tonight by someone attacking Zionist warmongers in Syria.
Not easy to read in this version but contains a Star of David in the Centre and a section is described as the Holocaust Memory section. A Labour Party member/supporter thought it was appropriate to post this and just casually dismissed claims that it was racist.
Beyond belief. You don't have to be either a Zionist or a Jew to recognise the kind of Nazi imagery that this image invokes.
And then there was Tariq Ali. In posting an article from the Times of Israel about development and sales of Gas between Israeli and Greek Prime Ministers he wrote:
Ali's reference to the use of gas is offensive to the real victims of the Holocaust, but in order to promote his so-called "anti-imperialist" agenda Jews don't matter. So much for the former Trotskyist leader of the International Marxist Group.
The far/hard left, however you wish to describe them are on the path to a new kind of fascism.
First they came for the Jews...
Never again!

Labour's "Gang of Four"
John McDonnell is in the news again, this time for his pro-IRA views. In a quote that reminiscent of Mao's view that "political power comes out of the barrel of a gun" The Times reports that during a speech welcoming Sinn Fein to London in 1986 that he stated:
The "ballot, the bullet and the bomb could all be used to unite Ireland".
Clear? Absolutely.
Meanwhile Ken Livingstone disgraces himself over the 7/11 terrorist murders. The Independent reports:
Ken Livingstone has been accused of “accepting terrorist propaganda” after arguing that terrorists were “giving their lives” because of Britain’s invasion of Iraq.
Both these "men" are along with Jeremy Corbyn "friends" of Hamas, an Islamist terror group that masquerades as a Palestinian liberation group.
None of these people are fit for government as they weasel out of acting against ISIS.
Finally it seems John McDonnell is not the only Corbynista to have delusions about mass murderer Chairman Mao as this TV clip from 2008 shows. Take it away...with the fairies Ms Abbot.

Maryam Namazie banned from Facebook for this video...
Given that Facebook was created in the USA home of free speech and expression you'd think that this owner of of one of the largest social networking sites in the world would be sensible in policing its posters.
Not so in the case of Maryam Namazie who was banned for posting this rather innocuous short video in support of err..peoples right to live the way they want to. Even ex-Muslims.
However Facebook have restored her access and rightly so.
Free speech is under threat everywhere. Defend your rights!

Labour could have had a victory over Tax Credits....
Then John McDonnell opened his mouth.....
One of the biggest mass murderers in history. Chairman Mao.
McDonnell must have practised this little stunt. What was he thinking.
Unelectable.

Union leader seeks protection in a temple following police raids
A Labourstart Appeal by Eric Lee
The South Korean government has declared war on the country's trade unions.
Those unions were engaged in peaceful protest against a proposed reform to the country's labour laws when police blocked their march, attacked them with water cannon, and arrested 51 union activists. One of the protestors hit by the water cannon remains in a coma.
Four days ago, the police raided eight offices of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) and its affiliates and regional branches. They confiscated computers, external hard drives, and meeting documents.
And they issued an arrest warrant for Han Sang-gyun, the KCTU president. He is now under the protection of the Jogyesa Temple, a Buddhist order.
The international labour movement, including the International Trade Union Confederation and global union federations have issued a call for a massive online protest campaign.
It is very important that we quickly mobilize thousands of trade unionists around the world to condemn this savage repression.

No criticism of the "Dear Leader" to be allowed?
Photo: "Kim Jong-Un Photorealistic-Sketch" by User P388388 on Wikimedia/
Photo: "Jeremy Corbyn crop" by Li from London
Labours National Executive Committee is set to "ban" Labour Party members including MPs from criticising Jeremy Corbyn in a move that could see the end of all debate inside the Labour Party. At the same time attacks on his opponents by rabid "Corbynistas" continue unabated.
How did a democratic Party come to this position?
The new left around Jeremy Corbyn comes from a tradition that is traditionally opposed to the plurality of opinion which allowed the Labour Party to become a "broad church" fit for parliamentary democracy. Corbyn, despite being weak in many respects has himself been a rebel who is used to only discussing issue with those who agree with him. But beneath his "gentle" exterior a pure Stalinist lurks as seen in outbursts when he does not get his way.
His team of advisers or more accurately his commissars like Seamus Milne and Andrew Fisher belong to an anti-democratic Marxist tradition. One is a Stalinist, the other a Trotskyist who differ only in the same sense a religious fanatic might take positions based on his or hers interpretations of the holy texts might take.
Marx, Lenin, Stalin and Trotsky are false gods who have always been followed by false prophets of which Corbyn is just the latest incarnation.
His fanatical followers in a poll think he is doing a "good job", how the comrades work that out as Labour plummets in the polls with only 17% of the British public thinking they'll be "safe under his rule is beyond belief.
But then "socialism" or "communism" however one chooses to define the beliefs of the "Momentum Tendency" and their allies is akin to a religious outlook hence their continual attacks on the heretic who dare to disagree.
Fascism had its concentration camps, Stalinism had it's gulags. the Islamist fanatics simply slaughter on the spot. Extemism always comes round to this. Oh I'm not saying the Dear leader is about to imprison or slaughter his opponents but his supporter have created an intolerance that breeds hate rather than reason and represent not new politics, certainly not nicer politics but the age old policy of repressing their opponents.
Labour is reaching the point where it is becoming untenable to hold a viewpoint contrary to the leadership.
The danger which the Momentum Tendency and their deluded followers fail to see is that ordinary working class folk do not want a return to the "soviet style politics that were on offer during the age of ideologies in the 20th century.
The old left has failed but it's blinkered followers are too fundamental in their blinkered world view to recognise this and only the Tories and maybe UKIP will gain from this tomfoolery.
Will Labour need to split?
Probably.
The lunatics have taken over the asylum and there may be no other solution.

The need for strong defence in a hostile world
Photo: "RAF Eurofighter Typhoon" by Peter Gronemann
There were a number of stories that caught my attention today and choosing which one to write about has proved shall we say, difficult. They are sort of connected as you will see but trying to make sense out of the political developments going on around the world of British politics can be perplexing even for those with a firm view on such matters.
The announcement that the Tory government was to virtually reverse cuts in defence spending was only partially a surprise given that Cameron and his mates have cut the armed forces to the bone following their somewhat ill though out "austerity" policy. The RAF lost all it's Harrier jump jets, the Navy it's only aircraft carrier and the Army shrunk to less than the size of the BEF sent to France in 1940.
Yet there has been no peace dividend. Russia has been on an expansionist binge in the Crimea and other parts of the Ukraine, rattling its sabre alongside the Baltic states and sending out long range planes and submarines to test our air and sea defences just like in the cold war.
Whilst jets could be scrambled to intercept the bombers, it seems we no longer have aircraft able to detect submarines and have to rely on the French and the Germans for assistance.
The shame.
Meanwhile in the Middle east civil wars across two Arab nations led to rise of what can only be described as a new Nazi movement. ISIL/ISIS/Daesh whatever you call to choose them. A genocidal army made up of religious fanatics and attracting adherents from their bedrooms in supposedly civilised Western countries to go out and rape, murder and enslave all those who are not them.
For too long the world stood aside and allowed this to go on with only the Kurds seemingly being the ones to take on the Islamist criminals. The Americans and other allies sent in their air forces which did include half a dozen RAF jets but that was never going to be enough.
The West's inaction led to a power vacuum allowing other powers to intervene. First the Iranians and their proxies Hezbollah backing up the vicious Syrian dictator Assad but also allowed the West's old enemy the Russian bear to establish itself in the Middle eastern theatre with a vengeance.
Unprepared the Cameron government had to be both shocked by the Paris attacks and shamed by the French response to finally recognise peace relies on being prepared for war.
Not quite the thirties, but near enough as the clerical fascists rise around the world and in our midst with a nihilist agenda that threatens us all.
Too little to late. So many people have suffered through our inaction. Mass graves are being found as the Islamic genocide of the Yazadi's and others are uncovered. The Times reports that ISIS is digging in preparing for their absolute defence of their fatherland or caliphate as they deem it in their deluded war on behalf of an imaginary friend. their ideology taken from the worst excesses of Saudi wahhabism.
The left, particularity in the UK has shamed itself by dallying with non-existent "Islamic alliances" in the name of anti-imperialism. The Stop the War Coalition backed the dictators, ignored the Kurds, pretended as if the Yazadi's didn't exist.
All in the name of "anti-imperialism".
To make matters worse the Labour Party has become dominated by a political tendency around Jeremy Corbyn that wants to pretend these wars are the West's fault and fret about the rights of terrorists like Jihadi John and Corbyn himself feels "uncomfortable" with a "shoot to kill" policy when the terrorists come shooting and murdering our own in the streets.
Our politicians whether of the left or the right have failed us. Tolerating the intolerable. Being weak in the face of adversity and acting so late.
No one wants war, but sometimes war is forced upon us.
We were unprepared. They never learn.
There can never be appeasement in the face of evil.

Two Human Rights violations ignored by the left
In the West we take the right of free speech and expression for granted. Elsewhere such freedoms are non-existent or under threat. Two countries with the worst human rights records are Saudi Arabia and Iran.
The Guardian reports:
A Palestinian poet and leading member of Saudi Arabia’s nascent contemporary art scene has been sentenced to death for renouncing Islam.
A Saudi court on Tuesday ordered the execution of Ashraf Fayadh, who has curated art shows in Jeddah and at the Venice Biennale. The poet, who said he did not have legal representation, was given 30 days to appeal against the ruling.
Fayadh, 35, a key member of the British-Saudi art organisation Edge of Arabia, was originally sentenced to four years in prison and 800 lashes by the general court in Abha, a city in the south-west of the ultraconservative kingdom, in May 2014.
But after his appeal was dismissed he was retried last month and a new panel of judges ruled that his repentance did not prevent his execution.
The journalist Solmaz Ikdar has been sentenced to three years in prison for “insulting the Supreme Leader” and “propaganda against the state.” The charges were based on content she posted on her Facebook page.
The trial, presided over by Judge Moghisseh, took place on October 20, 2015, and Ikdar’s sentence was issued on November 10, 2015, a source told the International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran.
Ikdar, 33, has spent her journalism career writing for several reformist publications, including Shargh, Bahar, Farhikhtegan, and Mardom-e Emrooz.
Her sentencing takes place within the context of an intensified campaign by hardliners against journalists and reformists in Iran. During recent weeks, several Iranian journalists have been arrested by the Revolutionary Guards’ Intelligence Organization.
Authorities in Iran have also cracked down particularly hard on any dissenting opinion expressed on social media, a platform they have come to fear due to its widespread use among Iranian youth.
The journalist’s sentence reflects the broader campaign underway by hardliners in Iran to assert their dominance in the domestic sphere in the post-nuclear deal environment.

The left remain silent on these issues and accuse those of us that raise them of being Islamophobes or in more extreme cases "Zionist s*itheads "as happened to me me when I tried raising the Palestinian Ashraf Fayadh on a Labour Party Face Book forum at the weekend. My accuser didn't like highlighting "certain countries" because the "whole picture" needed to be seen. He then attacked Israel and declined from condemning the execution. Possibly and Islamist, certainly part of the "anti-imperialist" brigade that has come to pollute the "left".
The need for a new progressive movement has never been greater.

At last the world agrees to act against ISIS
The United Nations only has limited value due to the fact it reflects the make up of it's constituent members large numbers of whom are dictatorships of various types and/or corrupt beyond belief or act purely out of self0interest. However once in a while the body can act the right way and their decision to finally act against ISIS is to be welcomed.
The BBC reports:
The UN Security Council has unanimously adopted a resolution to "redouble" action against Islamic State, following last week's deadly attacks in Paris.
The French-drafted document urges UN members to "take all necessary measures" in the fight against IS.
The decision of Russia and China to back resolution 2249 hopefully means that words of condemnation will finally become action against the genocidal movement known as ISIS.
Meanwhile the left continues to rail against action. The selective "Stop the War Coalition" are organising a meeting in a couple of weeks to condemn miltary action.
Speakers include washed out Trotskyist Tariq Ali (appearing by Skpe), Counterfire and StWC leader Lynsey German, Salma Yacoob former sidekick of George Galloway and Andy Murry of whats left of the old Communist Party.
Even George Galloway is supporting action, no doubt to please his "paymasters" on Russian and Iranian TV stations. Opportunistic as ever.
How the countries chief appeaser Jeremy Corbyn will react is not clear. Last I heard he was trying to stop his MP's from having a free vote over Syria. This from a man who broke ranks from his colleagues in parliament over 500 times in his career.
The left has no credibility when ti comes to our safety and security. Nor can they claim any kind of moral high ground as they fail to help those being murdered, raped and enslaves by the Islamist criminals.
The lefts pandering to Islam(ism) has corrupted what they say they stand for. It's not a surprise as much of the left spent decades defending dictatorships in Russia, China and Eastern Europe along with tin-pot dictators in the "third world".
The left lost it's way with the coming of the mullahs counter-revolution in Iran. It has never recovered.

Dianne Abbot fails again
There's a new faction in the Labour Party called the Socialist Campaign for Labour Victory (well it's new to me) and they have published their political wares which includes a demand to disarm the police (the armed response units) and abolish MI5.
So the very people who have been responsible for protecting us ordinary folk from at least seven planned terrorist attacks through their intelligence work and those that would be deployed to deal with the murderers shooting up our friends family and neighbours in the event of an attack are to be abolished if these "comrades" have their way.
Amongst the signatories is a certain John McDonnell Mp and Deputy Leader of the Labour Party. Apparently comrade McDonnell denied either seeing it, let alone signing it and then a picture appeared showing him holding the statement.
So much for the "new" politics. The "left" politicians simply lie about other things....
Meanwhile Diane Abbott got herself in a right old mess again on TV as the following clip shows.
Morons the lot of them.

TUSC candidate barred from Labour
The former Militant Tendency now known as the Socialist Party published a rather odd piece about the exclusion of one of their former allies who stood as a candidate in the local elections last year under the banner of the Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition:
London bus driver and Unite branch secretary Joanne Harris has been barred membership of the LabourParty for five years.
Joanne applied to rejoin Labour after supportingJeremy Corbyn's election campaign and his committment to leading an anti-austerity party.
However, the Labour Party's 'star chamber' membership department said that because she had stood as a Trade Unionist and Socialist Coaltion candidate in 2014 against her local cuts-implementing Labour council in west London, she would be excluded until after the next general election.
Why would this surprise anyone? She stood against an official Labour Party candidate but still expects to be re-admitted.
The recent influx of hard-left activists who have spent their time attacking Labour includes members of other tiny sects such as Workers Liberty (formerly Socialist organiser) and Workers Power (now re branded as Red Flag) will attract the attention of the Labour NEC.
These people are not real Labour supporters. They are members and supporters of organisations that have a clear and separate organisation and agenda to the Labour Party.
The response of the excluded comrade is stated:
Joanne has appealed to Jeremy Corbyn to overturn the ban and support "reinstating my membership to the party as I am a loyal left supporter of Labour. As far as I am concerned I never left the party, they left me."
Loyal? Abandoned? You?
I don't think so.
Joanne Harris chose to leave the Labour Party rather than fight for her position (whatever that is) inside Labour and joined an extremist coalition of Trotskyists opposed to not just the Labour Party but democracy itself.
Methinks "comrade" 'arris protests too much!

The war on freethinkers (TV programme with Maryam Namazie)
Too often any critic of Islam and or Islamism is called an "Islamophobe". Even those from a Muslim background. Recently the "safe spaces" brigade tried to ban Maryam Namazie from speaking a Warwick University. Might upset "Muslims" we are told.
Meanwhile hate preachers go about their business unmolested.
.
The following programme appears regularly on You Tube in English and Persian. It's well worth a watch and will give you a different perspective on Islam from people who have grown up under it's oppressive regime and dared to rebel.

Corbyn fails us all
The satirical website Newsthump probably thought they were just taking the piss out of Jeremy Corbyn when they wrote:
Terrorists should be sent to sit on the naughty step and given a stern talking to to stop them doing all that terroristing, Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has insisted.
In what is being seen as his strongest message so far, Corbyn clearly stated that terrorists should be sent to bed without any dinner unless they agree to stop all that tomfoolery this instant.
Encouraging his supporters to ‘hug a jihadi’, in interview Corbyn declined to agree that measures above harsh language should be deployed against a nutter with a machine gun as doing so ‘sent the wrong message’.

Trouble is they are not that far off the truth.
Corbyn just does not have a clue about the reality of the world about him.
His statements on the death of mass-murderer Jihadi John and the need to bring him to trial were naive enough but to fail to understand the necessity of the "shoot to kill" policy for Islamist (and other) terrorists is frankly unbelievable.
Only through pressure has Corbyn supposedly "modified" his views about dealing with criminals running around the streets shooting innocents.
What would the man be like in power.
This dithering fool is incapable of taking action.
That more than anything else would put peoples lives and our national security at risk.
Steptoe is not fit for government.
The reason.
It's more than just ideology. He's spent his whole life as a professional protester who has never had to take responsibility for anything.
Even now he can't make the transition.
Corbyn is unelectable.

Labour MP Keith Vaz would have “no problem” with reintroduction of UK blasphemy laws
Cross-post from the National Secular Society
Labour MP Keith Vaz has expressed his support for the reintroduction of UK blasphemy laws – provided they "apply equally to everybody."
His comments were reportedly made at an event organised by the Muslim Council of Britain to explore responses to terrorism and extremism, held in London on 12 November.
During discussions on how to respond to 'slurs' and "grossly irresponsible" coverage of Muslim issues in the media, attendees called for Britain's Independent Press Standards Organisation (IPSO) to use its powers to pursue complaints of discrimination against groups of people, such as those of Muslim faith, even if no individual is specified in an offending article.
Miqdaad Versi, Assistant Secretary General of the MCB, said "Muslim communities need to be able to respond to accusations [against] Muslims, or against the Prophet, in a more effective way."
He added: "Whether there should be legislation is something that really is a more complicated question."
But in response to discussion on new blasphemy legislation, Vaz, who is the chairman of the influential Home Affairs Select Committee, told Al Arabiya that under certain conditions he would have "no problem" with the reintroduction of blasphemy laws in the UK.
"Religions are very special to people. And therefore I have no objection to [a blasphemy law] … but it must apply equally to everybody," the longstanding Labour MP added.
If there were to be new blasphemy laws, the MP commented, "It should apply to all religions. If we have laws, they should apply to everybody."
The remarks have been strongly condemned by the National Secular Society.
In response to the MP's comments, NSS executive director, Keith Porteous Wood, said: "I am appalled that such a senior politician should be blithely contemplating the reintroduction of blasphemy laws. In any plural society, ideas, including religious ideas, should be open to rigorous debate. We already have an armoury of laws restricting freedom of expression. Religiously aggravated insults already carry a seven year tariff. This is already likely to have a chilling effect on freedom of expression.
"Reintroducing blasphemy laws would not be showing a good example to those Muslim countries where blasphemy laws carry the death sentence. Even being accused of blasphemy in Pakistan – sometimes a tactic of commercial or political rivals - can result in extra-judicial death."
Vaz went on to give contradictory answers about his views, saying that there should not be blasphemy laws in the UK, before adding, "If somebody brings it forward in parliament I'll vote for it… Obviously it depends what's in the bill. But I have no objection to it being brought before parliament and having a debate about it."
David Anderson QC, the Government's Independent Reviewer of Terrorism Legislation, said he would have "no problem with the idea of a democratic debate on whether there is room for some kind of blasphemy law". But the senior lawyer also explained that "I'm not sure whether I would welcome a blasphemy law, because I think we have to be free to make fun of each other. We even have to be free to offend each other".
In 2008 the National Secular Society played a key role in the abolition of blasphemy laws in England and Wales. The NSS is also part of a new campaign – Defend Free Speech – to oppose the introduction of new freedom of speech laws.
You can read the National Secular Society's position statement on anti-Muslim bigotry here.

The other victims of ISIS
Photo: by Jiel Beaumadier - Own work. Licensed under CC
Social media has been full of sympathy and support for the victims of Paris and quite rightly so but far too often there are victims of ISIS that still go on being ignored, in particular by the non-interventionist left and so called "peace" movements in this country.
I read with horror some of the comments made by supposedly "left-wing" activists on both the Labour Party Forum and (unsurprisingly) the selective Stop the
Some are just plain naive take Lucy from Labour:
"if we bomb syria, isis will bomb london. the only way to defeat isis is to stop international relations with the middle eastern states (e.g. saudi arabia, UAE) who actively fund ISIS. cut off their funding, and they will stop"
Whilst I can understand some not so worldly-wise people having such an outlook it does not explain the comments made by Hilary Benn reported in the Independent:
Labour’s opposition to any British involvement in military action against Islamic State (Isis) in Syria has intensified, despite the massacre in Paris.
Shadow Foreign Secretary Hilary Benn said the co-ordinated attacks on the French capital, which left at least 127 dead, were an “act of war” – but all but ruled out backing UK air strikes in response.
Meanwhile as our politicians prevaricate and the appeasers raise the white flag there are those who continue to suffer at the hands of ISIS. The Tribune reports the discovery of a mass grave of Yizadi women:
The grave contains the bodies of some 78 women aged between 40 to around 80, according to younger women who had been enslaved by IS, witnessed the executions and later escaped, said Miyasir Hajji, a Sinjar council member.
“It seems the (IS) terrorist members only wanted young girls to enslave,” Hajji said, a reference to militants using women as sex slaves who can be bought and sold.
Mahma Khalil, the local official responsible for the Sinjar area, confirmed that the grave had been found, and said it is believed to contain some 80 victims.
This discovery is only the tip of the iceberg of known and unknown atrocities committed by this gang of criminals.
Yazadi men, Kurds, Christians and Muslims that do not subscribe to the brutality of ISIS are all victims of this Islamist inspired Holocaust.
Benn is right about one thing. Bombing will not defeat ISIS alone. It has to be troops on the ground from around the world. The West has hesitated too long and shied away from the necessary action to defeat what can only be described as the rise of the new Nazis.
The majority of the left in has ignored their plight, as it does not serve their nefarious ideological purposes.
The French have realised they now at war. And so are we all against this new evil in our midst.
ISIS, Boko Harem and their ilk must be fought.
Our liberty and that of others depends on our will to stand up and be counted.

Alf Garnett on smoking and drinking: A tribute to comedian Warren Mitchell
Buried under the terrible news about Paris was the sad death of comedian Warren Mitchell.
His role as Alf Garnett in the classic BBC sitcom Till Death do Us Part and later with In Sickness And Health bought laughter to millions with his character.
The shows would probably give today's politically correct and safe space adherents an apoplectic fit, but for the majority of people with a proper sense of proportion and humour Alf was the man!
Rest in Peace Warren. You will be missed.

Gaza Activist shames herself over Paris Attacks
As the number of casualties rise from the multiple terrorist attacks carried out by Islamists in Paris, the inevitable nonsense from the left and the anti-imperialist brigade have started.
Right. Just planting the seed then. Of course she is trying to suggest that. Her comment is inference by denial, a crude propaganda trick. She made similar comments after Charlie Hebdoe. There are plenty of willing dimwits prepared to believe this rubbish.
Appalling woman.

Appeasement is not the answer to terrorism
As I sat down to write this post the news about a coordinated terrorist attack in Paris has appeared on Sky News. Shootings in restaurants, bombs near the football stadium plus a report of a hostage situation in a Theatre where a rock concert is taking place. Terrible news given the recent Charlie Hebdoe murders.
This is happening on the same day we hear of the death of the murderer "Jihadi John" a member of the ISIS criminal gang of genocidal slavers and rapists. The number of his victims will never be known but like most other right-minded people will not shed a tear.
Yet there are those who still don't get it.
A number of appalling comments have appeared on one of the Labour Party forums tonight which indicate a very real problem. The first is from a Nads Hussain who wrote:
Clear anti-Semitism.
The moderators of the forum have barred the individual.
As for the Jihadi John story I despair when I hear that Jeremy Corbyn thinks we should have arrested and tried this murderer in court. How he proposes to have achieved that in the middle of a major war zone which he doesn't want to intervene in in despite the mass murders committed by ISIS is beyond me.
And the left want this fool as Prime Minister?
Earlier one of his supporters on the same forum made this statement:
"Justice should be decided in a court of law not by a politician. When they take this mans rights away , whatever he has done they take all our rights away ".

HIS rights? What about those of his victims?
I repeat for for the benefit of the comrades this is a war zone.
ISIS cannot be reasoned with. They have to be stopped through military force. Corbyn and his supporters simply raise the white flag and will leave not just us defenceless but will stand aside and let this genocide continue.
I dread to think who the Stop the war Coalition and their co-thinkers will be writing tomorrow.
In the mean time I continue to watch with horror the deaths of so many innocents.
The time to act against these terrorists and their allies is now.

Revenue & Customs Trade Union statement on HMRC changes
Today the announcement was made to staff in HMRC at 1100, one that had long been telegraphed by the BOF events (perversely the Daily Telegraph had an article this morning detailing the announcement -http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/economics/11989681/HMRC-to-merge-170-offices-into-13-hubs-as-part-of-major-overhaul.html ), that we are closing all locations and moving to new regional offices – 170 to 13 (or 14 if you look at the commercial tender that is out there).
The RCTU officers discovered that shelved plans from 2008/9 had been resurrected in 2013 to move to perhaps a dozen locations and fought hard to explain why the issues and concerns we raised in 2008/9 – which with other actions to halt such an extreme move - remained valid and supported by empirical evidence since then from trails and projects many of which we initiated – that we required a network of modern offices across the UK, covering the UK, and with proper consultation we could have modern, well paid, flexible staff to meet all compliance activity. Of course this needs structural change in senior management commands and less senior management posts.
So now we are here.
- The fiscal business case is unproven.
- The compliance business case is unproven.
- The IT delivery is, and we quote a senior leader, “wishful thinking”.
- The impact on staff morale is incalculable but certainly devastating and promotes massive disengagement.
We have the business case that needs to be heard. It is the staff’s case from their experience and their day to day reality of their working life in HMRC.
The change in the original plans of 2013 with all offices closed by 2020 in a rolling programme from 2016 onwards is interesting - as are the press leaks – we believe we know why and it concerns us greatly.
RCTU General Secretary Margi Rathbone said:
“While we welcome more time to discuss the detail of these proposals there remain concerns from our members about the overall strategy. Is it the right strategy for the UK? HMRC is basing the proposals, to a degree, on a future business models that do not exist as yet and have not, of course, been tested. It will also cause issues with customer service delivery with urban location rationalisation and the associated staff disruption. It does not take into account what our members know is the actual reality in their everyday working lives. The new estate plans makes little sense to our members and the employer is once again failing to listen to their staff.”

Human Rights Court rules against Dieudonne
The vicious anti-Semite Dieudone M'bala M'bala who masquerades as a comedian has lost his appeal to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) who have ruled that anti-Semitism and Holocaust denial are not "free expression"
The Belfast Telegraph reports:
Dieudonne, as the comic is known, ended a December 2008 show by inviting a prominent Holocaust denier on stage, then having an actor dressed to resemble a concentration camp victim offer him a prize.
He was convicted by a French court in October 2009 of hate crime charges and fined 10,000 euros (£7,000). He lost repeated appeals, until finally bringing it before the Strasbourg-based European Court of Human Rights.
The court noted Dieudonne's stated desire to stage "the biggest anti-Semitic meeting since the last World War" and ruled on Tuesday that the show was not a show but the expression of an ideology.
In other words a political rally. One designed to promote hate against Jews.
This is but a small victory in the fight against the rise of anti-Semitism both in France and across Europe promoted by Islamists, "anti-imperialists" and sections of the so-called left particularly in the UK. Most will claim they are simply "anti-Zionist" whist allying themselves with genocidal terrorist groups such as Hamas in the name of "solidarity".
It is too easy to forget that fascism did not just begin on the right. Mussolini was originally a socialist whose loss to the movement was mourned by Lenin. Mosley came out of the Labour Party and the full name of the Nazi's was the National Socialist Workers Party.
The message to the world must be two words.
Never again.

A faux protest at expulsion by the Alliance for Workers Liberty
Back in 1990 a group found to be around the newspaper Socialist Organiser was proscribed by the Labour Party on the ground that it was just like the Militant Tendency, a distinct and separate organisation to the Labour Party. Yes it was a lot smaller, barely over 100 people but that's not the point.
Fast forward to today and the group still exists but as is the way for Trotskyist organisations they have changed the name of their newspaper and the party behind it. Solidarity is the paper of the Alliance for Workers Liberty. They have some pretty interesting (and sometimes quite sane) views on politics having come out firmly against Islamism and anti-Semitism which is frankly a breath of fresh air on the far left.
Contrast that to the other vile groupscules on the far left such as Counterfire (the group behind the mis-named Stop the War Campaign) and Socialist Action (Trots turned Stalinists) who see Zionism in everything and seek the destruction of the only democracy in the Middle East, which also happens to be the only Jewish state in the world.
For most of the far-left the destruction of "Imperialism" (unless it's Russian or Chinese) is THE priority regardless of the consequences. Organisations like Counterfire cow-tow to Putin's growing dictatorship, back the murderous President Assad of Syria, the genocidal maniacs of Hamas and Hezbollah work for the clerical-fascist Iranian run "Press TV". The list is endless but similar to the nonsense espoused by Jeremy Corbyn.
Here the AWL run into a problem. Like the rest of the far-left they have jumped on the Corbyn bandwagon despite their rather obvious differences with the man himself on these major issues. They have "wound down" their electoral front" with the Electoral Commission so they can enter "en-mass" (if a hundred or so members can be described as such) the Labour Party.
Hence their current problem.
They are actively disliked by the rest of the left for their "social imperialism" (whatever the hell tht's supposed to mean. The far left are not renowned for their use of plain English) and are running into trouble. Four of the (cough) members have been excluded/expelled from the Labour Party for being members of the AWL.
Like Militant it's not supposed to exist and we are all, laughably supposed to believe they are just a publishers of a newspaper.
No one believes that. The even smaller Workers Power group has embarked on a similar strategy with it's "Red Flag" project.
Of all the left papers Solidarity is an interesting read but then so was the Weekly Worker before it became obsessed with the minutiae of the goings on in the now failed Left Unity party set up by film director Ken Loach.
Still I digress.
The point is this small group of sometimes quite shouty individuals are a separate party and there is no way round it. Not that this stops them from protesting.
A statement calling for an end to the expulsions/witch hunt etc has been posted on line by "Red Labour" (No idea either before you ask).
Statement by Red Labour on the recent expulsion of some of our Labour Party comrades:
In the course of a rather grotesquely titled 'operation ice-pick' (ice pick being the murder weapon used on Trotsky by an agent of Stalin) a number of long-standing party members have been expelled despite being energetic Labour supporters for all recent elections.
The charge against them is that they are suspected of being members of the Alliance for Workers Liberty (AWL)
- or to “have been” associated with AWL in the past
- or just to be suspected of having contributed
- or circulated Solidarity (the weekly paper linked to the AWL)
- or having attended AWL public events
- or selling or writing for its paper 'Solidarity'.
Some have received letters saying only that they have been expelled for being members of "political groups other than official Labour groups", a criterion drawn from the rules but so vague that if taken literally it could be a mandate for expelling probably the majority of Labour's members.
Read the rest here: http://www.workersliberty.org/node/25806
A disingenuous statement. CND and Greenpeace are "single issue" pressure groups. The AWL is a political party no matter how you pretend otherwise. So is Socialist Action (Ken Livingstones aides in County Hall), Workers Power and Left Unity despite Ken Loaches protests.
A faux outrage. No other way to put it.

Stop the War and Diane Abbot's hypocrisy knows no bounds
The appearance of "comrade" Abbot on TV yesterday (see post below) exposed the nature of the anti-imperialist left and in has led to the Stop the War Coalition crying "foul" because they finally got caught out. The
The last few days have seen a series of venomous or abusive attacks on Stop the War in The Guardian, the Daily Telegraph and the BBC. The worst of these, in the sense of being the most mendacious, was on Andrew Neil’s BBC Daily Politics show.
Neil used the organised disruption of Stop the War’s otherwise successful meeting in parliament on November 2, which brought together MPs from nearly all parties in opposition to bombing Syria, as a pretext to smear StWC..
...on the other hand is a classic example of the Western liberal whose conception of the world is akin to that of a child let loose with crayons on a blank sheet of paper, allowing said crayons to go wherever they please with no thought of the mess being made or lack of coherence being wrought.
Worse, he and his co-thinkers continue their slavish attachment to the wondrous virtues of ‘humanitarian intervention’..

Successful meeting? Who are they trying to kid. We all saw protests from SYRIANS about not only the politics of the event but the way it was handled. Banned from speaking, the Syrians did indeed protest in much the same way that Lyndsey German has done in the past when in the Socialist Workers Party. These anti-imperialist just were not prepared to listen to the actual people who have fled not ISIS in the main but the barrel bombs of the Syrian air force.
Assad is responsible for seven times the number of deaths ISIS is. Not that the comrades care. Where were the Stop the War demonstrations outside the Syrian Embassy.
Nowhere.
The StWC also published articles supporting Russian intervention which included Russian bombing but have half heartedly tried to back track as Russian bombs cause as much (if not more) collateral (civilian deaths) damage than the allies.
Hypocrites.
All the comrades had to do was listen. Now it's all a witch-hunt now their true face has been exposed.
They do have some supporters. The vile John Wight over at Socialist Unity writes:
...STW find themselves under attack from voices accusing it of failing to take a stand against Assad and the Syrian government. A recent STW public meeting on Syria, held in the House of Commons, was loudly interrupted from the floor by Syrians opposed to Assad, and by Peter Tatchell, in what Stop the War describes on its website as an “organised disruption”. Afterwards, Tatchell shared his account of the experience on social media, accusing STW of refusing to allow those Syrians the right to speak, a claim the organisers of the meeting deny, before going on to denounce the organisation in withering terms.
Unlike the StWC Commissar Wight has always been openly pro-Assad and considers that Human Rights campaigner Peter Tatchell:
Worse, he and his co-thinkers continue their slavish attachment to the wondrous virtues of ‘humanitarian intervention’..
Right.....
Right-wing to the core methinks.
The Stop the War cronies and John Wight of Socialist Unity are not progressive at all. Not in any shape or form.
Neither it would seem is Diane Abbot the "socialist" MP who according to The Sunday Times today has been charging up to £5,000 a time for "speaking fees". Not sure who would really want to listen to her but now it's news she's apparently withdrawn from the agency that provides speakers.
It seems that so many of today's "wadicals" are not so radical after all.
No wonder students want to hide in safe spaces....

Diane Abbotts duplicity about a Stop The War / Syria debate
The duplicity of Diane Abbot and the Stop the War Coalitions is made obvious in this clip from the Daily politics show.
Apologists for dictators.
Apologists for dictators.
Workers Power reconstitute themselves as "Red Flag"
The rite of passage into the Labour Party by Trotskyist groups usually does necessarily warrant a name change as they might be a wee to obvious selling their old rag and describing themselves as supporters of an organisation that was and still is a separate and distinct organisation.
Worker Power are the latest group to try these wheeze and have reconstituted themselves inside Labour as the "Red Flag", "Labour's revolutionary socialist voice". According to their new website:
Jeremy Corbyn’s landslide victory opens a new period in British politics. A new mass socialist movement is born, bringing hundreds of thousands into political life. This movement can transform Labour and transform Britain, as long as it adopts consistent socialist policies and fights for a thoroughgoing socialist transformation of society.
Red Flag is a revolutionary socialist initiative campaigning in the Labour Party, in the trade unions and among young people for:.....(amongst other things)
a social revolution, a Socialist Republic of Britain and a socialist world.
No mention of the Fifth International though...oh wait, the games mentioned in their "International" Journal:
Hardly openly if they've changed their name. Devious entryist tactics as previously practised by Militant and Socialist Organiser.
Expect a new newspaper soon.
Oh and joining them will be part of the Socialist Party's now obviously falling apart Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition. The Independent Socialist Network is also entering the Labour Party. The ISN is not to be confused with the International Socialist Network who fell apart over a row about "race play" and is now clearly defunct.
So many competing groups all vying for the leadership of the working class. So much for Corbyn's "new politics". Sounds like the same old crap to this observer.

The retrogressive left......
Travelling home from work commuters in London found themselves delayed by the actions of a crowd of the "great unwashed" describing themselves as the "Million Masks March". There were nowhere near that number of course but their actions made the news as they protested about everything and nothing.
On Monday night the Stop The War Coalition (STWC) held a public meeting at the House of Commons – Syria: the case against military intervention.
Diane Abbott MP was the Chair. There were the usual suspects as speakers plus Tory MP Crispin Blunt, whose Foreign Affairs Select Committee had just delivered a report against any British involvement in Syria. Plus Alex Salmond and Caroline Lucas. Conspicuous by their absence as speakers were Syrians, the STWC refused to give any a platform.
Some Syrian victims of Assad’s brutalities turned up anyway but were not allowed to speak. They eventually shouted out in frustration, turning the meeting into momentary chaos, as they were jeered by some of the audience and as STWC stewards tried to eject them – allegedly threatening that they’d be arrested. The police turned up soon afterwards.
Order was eventually restored.
When it came to questions from the floor, other members of the audience were asked to speak but not the Syrians.
Near the end of the meeting, I personally appealed to Diane Abbott to let the Syrians have their say but she refused and closed the meeting.
President of the Kurdish Society, Kavar Kurda, organised for him to come in, but was told Macer would not be given a platform to speak because “one man’s freedom fighter is another man’s terrorist”...
(Asad Khan)... said in an email: “In every conflict there are two sides, and at UCLU we want to avoid taking sides in conflicts.”
Fraud allegations have been levelled against victorious candidates of this week’s Union elections, Asad Khan and Mohammad Ali.
Asad, who will serve as the £25K-a-year Activities and Events Officer, had one per cent of his first preference votes docked after an official complaint was made to the Union.
As anarchists do, they turned to mindless violence (hence the masks) and viewers were treated to the sight of these morons wrecking a police car for no apparent reason. They call it protest. I call it mindless vandalism.
But they are not the only so-called radicals in the news today.
Over at Shiraz Socialist Paul Canning reports on the latest political atrocity committed by the misnamed Stop the War Coalition:
Diane Abbott MP was the Chair. There were the usual suspects as speakers plus Tory MP Crispin Blunt, whose Foreign Affairs Select Committee had just delivered a report against any British involvement in Syria. Plus Alex Salmond and Caroline Lucas. Conspicuous by their absence as speakers were Syrians, the STWC refused to give any a platform.
A meeting about Syria without Syrians? Well there were some who tried to speak Peter Tatchell tells us that:
Order was eventually restored.

Near the end of the meeting, I personally appealed to Diane Abbott to let the Syrians have their say but she refused and closed the meeting.
Now a public meeting is supposed to be about debate. What were Diane Abbot and the StWC afraid of.
The answer is Syrian refugees.
Those who have fled from the violence perpetrated by Assad and ISIS.
Interestingly the reason given was that these Syrians supported bombing. Didn't stop Andrew Murray from being on the platform. He supports bombing by the Russians.
Hypocrites and Charlatans.
Speaking of ISIS there has been more censorship in Universities. This time at UCL. The Islamist Student leaders banned an ex-student fighter back from fighting alongside the Kurds against ISIS from speaking to the Universities Kurdish Society.
The Tab reports that :
One wonders if they'll ban the Palestinian Society from organising anti-Israel meetings? Don't think so.
On that basis no one can discuss World War II! Can't take sides against the Nazi's. Heavens might upset someones "safe space" and "trigger" a need to suck their thumb in a corner.
Interestingly the chief censor Mr Khan was found to have been involved in "electoral fraud" during the student elections. Back in March The Tab reported:
Asad, who will serve as the £25K-a-year Activities and Events Officer, had one per cent of his first preference votes docked after an official complaint was made to the Union.
Surely he should have been disqualified?
Something is seriously wrong in our universities.
The left has been corrupted by it's pro-Islamic agenda and has forgotten the majority of Muslims are oppressed by other Muslims.
There has never been a time when there is a greater need for a new radicalism that bases itself on secularism, human rights, free speech and reason.

Sex and religion: Making it up as they go along.....
Religion and sex make a very strange mix.
No matter what the faith there are those who abuse and use and there are those who just seem to make it all up as they go along. Sometimes both.
Take this Christian Pastor from Brazil:
EVANGELICAL pastor Valdeci Sobrino Picanto hit on a crafty way of getting blowjobs. He convinced his followers that his semen was “holy milk” and, according to one of his flock:
He has convinced us that only God could come into our lives through our mouth and that’s why he would do what he did. Often, after worship, pastor Valdeci would take us to the where the funds were kept at the back of the Church and asked us to have oral sex with him until the Holy Spirit would come through ejaculation.
Picanto said after his arrest that he intended sharing his sacred semen with fellow inmates.
One wonders at the sheer gullibility of his flock.
The same kind of nonsense comes from this old fool in Jordan. Note his casual acceptance of slavery.
You really couldn't make this sort of stuff up. Pathetic.

Wear a Red Poppy with pride!
November is the time of year that we as a nation remember those who fought and died to keep our country free. The Royal British Legion sell the Red Poppy to raise funds for those veterans who survive and sometimes need our help. Every year som 30 million are produced by volounteers for this purpose.
Like many others I will be wearing my Red Poppy with pride.
However there are those who always try to detract from this remembrance for twisted ideological reasons like Marxist Lyndsey German of the pro-Russian, pro-Iranian so called Stop the War Coalition. She is joined by appeasers such as the totally biased Robert Fisk and the deluded leader of the Labour Party Jeremy Corbyn.
Corbyn is one of those who would prefer to sport the "White Poppy" of the appeasers from the thirties who would have left us defenceless against the rise of Hitler and the Nazi's.
The Stop the War Campaign is the modern equivilant of the Peace Pledge Union who marched alongside the British Union of Fascists in favour of appeasement. Instead of selling out to Germany the modern activists support the worlds dictators against the free world.
Leading StWC figures such as John Rees appear on the Islamist TV station "Press TV" run by the clerical fascists of the Iranian Government. The StWC backs Assad and published articles welcoming Russian intervention in Syria whilst opposing military aid to the democratic Syrian forces or the most effective anti-ISIS forces of the Kurds.
The white poppy is for appeasers and should be treated with contempt.
Wear your Red Poppy with Pride.

When immigration can be too much
I grew up just outside a small market town in the sixties and seventies. It was a bit like Midsummer (but without the murders) and very middle to upper class in make-up, so was a safe Tory seat (and still is). I lived in one of the small council estates and went to school which was frankly set in the middle of nowhere with just a couple of houses a shop and pub in the near vicinity.
There were no black or Asian kids in my school or where I lived and the only racism I ever noticed was directed at gypsies (or travellers, not sure they were Romany's). Some people including a couple of class mates liked Enoch Powell even though there was not an immigrant in site.
My first encounter with a black person was around the age of 16 or 17 at a disco in the local Nurses home where they had a club. My reaction was one of a typical not-so-worldly-wise youth and saw her as exotic rather than any kind of intrusion or threat.
As I grew older I came to realise the influence of black music on the bands I listened to such as Led Zeppelin who were heavily guided by the blues. Indian or more precisely Bangladeshi culture was introduced to me by the opening of a curry house.
All small town stuff in an age that has more or less passed by.
Only when I started Polytechnic in London did I really begin to meet people from different backgrounds and cultures. I hesitate to use the word "race", because I have long learnt that despite our differences we are all human beings.
Migration and the movement of people has always been part of human history. Each wave brought with it changes, mostly gradual though wars and persecution often caused people to flee at a quicker pace than normal causing concern as societies developed, changed and sometimes were slow to adapt and integrate.
Today most countries have some form of immigration control and probably rightly so. As long as the selection is not based on "race", most people would have have no problem with that. However the current wave of mass immigration is proving divisive across Europe and nobody was prepared for the sheer weight of numbers that have started arriving.
In particular Germany has developed an open door policy, not just to the consternation of it's neighbours but some of of it's own inhabitants and in one case the problem is frankly obvious.
The Times reports of the problems about to be faced by the small town of Sumte in Germany. It has a population of just 102, no shop, no school and no police station. Even the nearest supermarket was over four miles away with only a limited bus service available. It was expected to take in no less than 1,000 migrants.
Predictably the locals were none too happy and amongst other things it was discovered after an investigation even the local sewage system couldn't cope with so many people.
The number was dropped to 750.
The problem remains that the villagers will be outnumbered seven to one by newcomers almost overnight. Coming from a small, though much larger country town I can sympathise with their plight. It's not because these people are foreigners, it's because their way of life will be destroyed in an instant.
The bureaucrat who thought this up should be moved elsewhere methinks. This just isn't practical and is the sort of thing that will feed the growing far-right, not just in Germany but elsewhere.
For once the fears of a community are justified, but the problem is not with the migrants but the idiots who thought that placing a thousand new arrivals in a country hamlet was a good idea.

More Trots head for Corbyn's Labour Party
Over the past few months there has been a clear move from the hard-line Marxist sects to re-orientate themselves towards the Labour Party following Jeremy Corbyn's victory. There are a number of former members of Left Unity now making their appearance both in "Momentum" (the Corbynista "party within a party") and in Labour itself.
Not to be left out the Alliance for Workers Liberty (publishers of the Solidarity newspaper) wound up their electoral front and" entered" Labour. However some members of the AWL have already faced expulsion or exclusion from Labour since their predecessor "organisation" Socialist Organiser was proscribed by the party in 1990.
Even the corbynistas have been moved to try and prevent the Socialist Workers Party from using their Momentum meetings as a platform for the SWP to recruit to it's sectarian little cult.
Now yet another Trot group has decided it's time to get in on the act. In an article (that now seems absent from their website but brought to my attention by Andrew Coates on his blog Workers Power announce:
"Workers Power supports key elements of Jeremy Corbyn’s programme. We believe all socialists should join the Labour Party, defend and promote Jeremy’s progressive demands, and work to extend and deepen these policies in a revolutionary socialist direction.
We will be working collectively in the Labour Party, hand in hand with others, to advance that cause."
In other words they are "entering" Labour "en-mass" if you can call a tiny group of no more than thirty people a "mass". It seems they suddenly realised that making their intentions public when Workers Power is (regardless of size) a distinct and separate organisation to the Labour party was probably not the wisest move. But Workers Power are a very odd little group.
The Trotskyist movement has been split asunder since the dawn of Trotskyism itself. Trotsky's attempt to launch a "Fourth International" led to an accumulation of several bodies describing themselves as the Fourth International.
Enter the Fifth International.
Or one of them. Workers Power decided along with it's international co-thinkers to move on from the Fourth to the declaring the Fifth International. Problem is (as is always the case with Trotskyists) they have had a split already so there are two "Fifth" Internationals ., Both tiny, but in competition with each other for the non-existent support of the "international proletariat" as they see us workers.
Why? No idea. Lose the will to live reading their material. Boring Marxist navel gazing almost at it's worst. Only the Sparts and remaining Maoists are barmier and more tedious.
It seems that very soon entry to Labour Party meetings will be met with hordes of wild eyed newspaper sellers just like back in the seventies and eighties.
Militant anyone?
It seems that the "new politics" we are promised by the Corbyn dominated left will be the same kind of old tosh that kept Labour out of power for years and allowed Thatcher to run rampant.
But that doesn't matter to these types. getting the "line" right is all that matters.
Meanwhile the battle to win back voters is being lost.
Only the Tories "own goal" over tax credits has undermined them while Corbyn and his unruly rabble might just not exist for all the use they are.
More Trots? That'll do nicely Jeremy. Not.
Hamas Cleric and TV Host Abu Funun: We Will Not Leave a Single Jew, Dead...
The true face of Hamas is seen in this genocidal rant from Hate Cleric Abu Funun. He talks about history and twists it. His so-called "prophet" was a warlord who along with his descendants conquered the lands across the Middle East and North Africa imposing Islam on the indigenous peoples who already lived there. There is no such thing as "Muslim" land anywhere except perhaps the Saudi Peninsula.
Regardless of this, history is what it is, all non-Muslims and those Muslims whose interpretations of Islam may differ from fanatics like Hamas and ISIS are under threat from men like these.
His violent interpretation of the religion of peace (sic) shows why there can be no appeasement with the Islamists.
When will the West, especially the left wake up and see the monster they support on "anti-imperialist" grounds? Their ideology is as twisted as the Islamists.
The time to fight back is now. Boycott the boycotters.
Stand up for peace. Two peoples, two states is the only solution.
