An interesting video blog from The Friendly Atheist that I thought worth sharing.
The word "Islamophobia" is misleading. Islam is a theology not a race and is used by many particularly on the so-called left to describe "racism" against Muslims. Surely then it should be Muslimophobia, but even that is not quite correct as it simply denotes followers of a theology.
The term "Islamophobia" is used to suppress even legitimate liberal, secular and atheist criticism of the faith as even ex-Muslims like Marynam Namazie have found when trying to speak out against the Islamists.
