Musical Interlude - Acker Bilk.

Acker Bilk is 85 today!

So I thought, time for a "Musical Interlude" with a timeless piece of music from 1961, Stranger on the shore.

This performance is from 1988.

A beautiful number. Enjoy

    Acker always refers to Stranger on the Shore as "my pension."

    Sadly, I hear he's had to go into some sort of sheltered accomodation and will probably never play in public again. A genuinely nice guy.
